Places to Visit Leh – Khalsar – Panamik – Tirit – Leh
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Leh – Khalsar
Leave Leh early after breakfast with packed lunch, cross Khardong-la (5540 M) through the highest road in the world. Arrive at Khalsar over the pass for overnight stay in camp.
Day 2: Khalsar – Panamik
After visiting Gompa Monastery at Khalsar, drive to Panamik a very large settlement at the bank of Nubra river. Overnight stay in camp.
Visit Hot water sulphur spring, have a bath (ideal for physical ailments), return to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the 250-year-old Samoor Gompa. Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 4: At Leisure
Visit Nubra river, local people, Bazar and pick some of local Handicrafts.
Day 5: Panamik – Tirit
Drive back to Tirit village – a centre of Handicrafts, Wool and Jewellery.
Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 6: Free Day
Day 7: Tirit – Leh
Drive back to Leh after crossing Khardong-la, reaching Leh around 4 P.M.
