Itinerary
Day – 1 – Leh
Arrive at Leh airport and transferred to hotel. Check in the hotel and relax for some time. Rest of the day is at leisure for your individual activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day – 2 – Leh
After Breakfast take a half day sightseeing of Leh which covers Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks to promote world peace then visit eye-catching Sankar Gompa monastery and Leh Palace. which was built in the 17th century in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture. After exploring these places back to the hotel. Evening is at leisure for your individual activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day – 3 – Leh – Nubra Valley
After Breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Nubra Valley also known as the valley of flowers via Khardungla Pass – the world’s one of the highest motorable road. On arrival at Nubra Valley check in the camp and relax for some time. In afternoon take a sightseeing of Diskit Monastery and the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh. Later, visit the white sand dunes at Hunder where you can enjoy the Double Humped Bactrian camel ride on direct payment basis. After enjoying the ride back to the camp. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day – 4 – Nubra – Leh
After Breakfast check out the camp and proceed to Leh via Khardungla Pass it is major caravan route from Leh to Kashgar in Central Asia. On arrival at Leh check in the hotel and relax for some time. Rest of the day is at leisure for your individual activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day – 5 – Leh
After Breakfast visit alchi a small village in the Indus Valley,Abandoned centuries ago the gompa or monastery is known as Chos-kor or religious enclave and comprises of five temples. En route see the majestic Sangam – Confluence Zanskar is the river formed from the junction of two streams formed from the junction of two streams, Lugnak means ‘dark gorge’ and Stod, which carries the melt water of the great Drang-drung glacier. See the marvelous Magnetic Hill, a gravity hill located near Leh. The hill is alleged to have magnetic properties strong enough to pull cars uphill and force passing aircraft to increase their altitude in order to escape magnetic interference. Visit Military Hall of Fame, a glorious museum constructed by Indian army also visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a beautiful Gurudwara constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak and Spituk Monastery a famous for its wide and varied collections of ancient masks, icons, antique arms and numerous Thangkas. After exploring these places back to the hotel Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day – 6 – Leh – Pangong
After Breakfast visit Pangong Tso, a lake which is 134 km long and extends from India to Tibet. On the way visit Shey Palace, the 15th century summer palace and monastery of Leh’s Royal family the 800 year old gompa at Thiksey built on a hilltop and modeled on the famous Potala Palace in Lhasa. Before reaching Pangong Lake, you will pass through the Changla, a high mountain pass and the world’s 3rd highest motorable road. It is on the route to Pangong Lake from Leh. Rest of the day is at leisure for your individual activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day – 7 – Leh
After Breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Leh on the way visit Stok Palace, famous for beautiful gardens and the view of sunrise as well as sunset is amazing from the palace. Rest of the day is at leisure for your individual activities. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day – 8 – Depart Leh
After Breakfast pack your bag and check out the hotel then proceed to Leh airport to board a flight for your onwards journey.
